In compliance with the additional government announcement gazetted on the morning of April 21 in relation to covid-19 and certain beauty services, we will be extending the suspension of nail, lash and facial services to May 7. We apologize for the repeated inconvenience caused, particularly to our customers who have already made appointments with us in the period between April 24 and May 7.
Our hair services will continue as usual, albeit with technicians on a weekly rotation for enhanced risk management.
Thank you for your continued patronage of Carte Blanche.
This morning on April 8, the “Latest directions under Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation and Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation” was published, requiring “beauty parlors” to close for 14 days during April 10 to 23, inclusive.
To ensure we understand what constitutes a “beauty parlor”, we have contacted the Food and Health Bureau and based on their response this afternoon, despite lingering uncertainty, have decided to suspend all nail, lash and facial services during this time.
We have received a clarification that our hair services remain unaffected by this regulation, hence will continue to offer these services. Please also refer to our Covid-19 protection measures.
We apologize for the multiple inconveniences caused to our customers recently, and thank you for once again for changing / canceling your appointments.
At Carte Blanche, we care about customers’ safety, as well as staff safety and livelihoods. We will be making operational decisions based on a balanced assessment of various factors. There does remain a possibility that we will suspend all our operations including the unaffected hair services.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused, and hope for your kind understanding during these difficult times.
