This is a notification to first time customers considering making an appointment with us.
Carte Blanche normally requires customers to adhere to our existing cancellation policy that asks customers to make changes or cancellations to their bookings by 18:00 the day prior to the appointment.
Unfortunately, in relation to first time bookings, with the increase in fraudulent activity in general over recent months, there has been a concomitant and dramatic increase in new customer no shows, which have included scammers aiming to cause a nuisance.
To minimize the significant operational stresses caused by such incidences, effective immediately, Carte Blanche will require a deposit of HK$250 for all first time customers to secure their appointments.
DEPOSITS FOR FIRST TIME APPOINTMENTS
The deposit will be used in full against payment on your first appointment.
■Applicability: For customers making first time appointments
■Amount: HK$250 per customer
■Payment method: In principle by credit card payment link (Payme and FPS also available）
■Payment deadline:
Bookings 4 or more days in future Within 48 hours of booking
Bookings 3 days in future Within 24 hours of booking
Bookings 2 or less days in future Immediate
■Your appointment will be automatically cancelled if payment is not received within the payment deadline.
■Refunds: If you make a booking change / cancellation before 48 hours prior to your booking (in principle by Whatsapp, or alternatively email), your deposit will either be kept for the next booking (for booking change) or refunded in full (for cancellation). In events of store closure due, for example, to Signal 8, refunds will be made automatically.
For regular patrons, we currently have no plans to introduce a deposit system, and there is no change to the existing cancellation policy reproduced below. The below policy will also apply to new customers visiting for the second time onwards.

Changes and cancellations are accepted free of charge up to 18:00 the day prior to your appointment.

Cancellations and changes up to 18:00 the day prior Free of charge
Cancellations and changes beyond 18:00 the day prior 50％ of the value of your booked menu
No show 100％ of the value of your booked menu
